
SCHOLARSHIPS
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide educational opportunities for our youth that demonstrate the values of leadership, service and personal integrity. We will award up to $6,000 in scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year based on academic achievement, community involvement, and the applicant’s personal statement.
guidelines AND ELIBIBILITY

This scholarship application is open to seniors in high school and college students who are actively enrolled in college or a trade school.

Applicants must have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average to apply for scholarships.

Applicants must have a permanent address in Eagle, Summit, Routt, or Garfield County.

Applicants must be currently involved in 4-H, FFA, rodeo, local play-days (gymkhanas), collegiate horse competitions and/or have a ranching background.

The scholarship application packets will be available on March 1, 2026.

Application is due by 10:00 pm on July 3rd, 2026 to the Cowboys Forever Foundation by mail: Cowboys Forever Foundation, P.O. Box 5651, Eagle, CO 81631 or via email at cowboysforeverfoundation.org

A committee of community individuals will make the final selection.

Notification of Award: During the Finals Rodeo on August 14th, 2026
NOTE: Awardees must be present to accept the scholarship.
